What is ABA
Human behavior can be understood and improved through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a result of using the scientific principles of learning and motivation to teach effectively, ABA emphasizes that what we do affects what we learn and what we do in the future.
APPLIED
Applied" means improving person-to-person interactions in order to enhance the quality of their lives.
BEHAVIOR
A person's behavior is anything they say or do that can be observed or heard. Behavioral approaches specify the behavior that needs to be improved and document changes in the behavior using behavioral definitions.
ANALYSIS
"Analytic" demonstrates a functional relationship between the strategies and procedures imposed on the environment and improvement in behavior.
